I have received a large
number of emails since my last journal entry, and I thank everyone for
their comments -- I am consistently surprised at the number of people
who express an interest in the mundane details of my life. I have
not updated
my journal in about three weeks, nor will I be able to continue for
at least another three as I am rather overwhelmed by my work at `Errols Academy'
and lately have not had the required energy to produce
a journal entry I am satisfied with.
But I don't have any intentions of joining the massive number of dead
journals on the internet. This journal
has been the best unexpected discovery since I moved to London.
It's my first real hobby and has provided me with hours of
enjoyment, frustration and, during my harder times in London, a
sense of purpose. Through what I've written here I've received
emails from the world over, met
up with many people in cafes in London, and had offers of drinks,
tours and places to stay all around the United Kingdom.
Though I do not intend to quit, I do need to rethink
the nature of this journal in light of looking for work in the teaching
profession. If you would like to be notified when I return to the
journal, send
me
an email and I will add you to my update list.
